Photography Class Photos!

I've gotten some of my photos I've taken during photography that I'd like to share. Most of them are macros due to the project *Macros/Close-ups*. We are all using a Canon Rebel T2i. Awesome camera if you ask me, I love it!

I Hate Winter

It is very cold in Germany. You can't even stand outside without shivering! It is so cold, I have to put so many layers on, that I feel like a marshmallow! Goodness!

Another Walk Somewhere in Germany

Phew, I haven't blogged in while! So sorry! I've been away at a Ministry to the Miltary (MTTM) camp for a week in Belgium. I will make a post about when I get the pictures together.  But anyway, I went for a walk with my mom and the dog, Kali, outside our village. And of course I took some pictures, so I'm going to share some with you. Enjoy :)

Fabulous Fridays!! Volunteering and Learning to Drive

I thought i should write something that i did on fridays, because fridays are awesome. So watch out for Fabulous Fridays!! :D

On base we have the American Red Cross. The ARC has offered teens 14+ to volunteer at the Library, Post Office, Pet Spa, and anything with the Youth Center and Schools. And if we volunteer so many hours (I forgot how many hours) we can have a free class that the ARC offers, like the babysitting course or the CPR.  I volunteer at the Library 3x a week and Post Office once a week. I have been volunteering for about 3 weeks, so i have a total of 20 hours.

So today (meaning a couple days ago) I volunteered at the Library. I got the job of programing the tags for the alarm system on all the audio books. SO what I would do is: Scan the audio book and see if the tag was working, if not I would put another tag. Scan it, then it should say that it works. Sometimes all I had to do was program the tag and put it away instead of putting another tag in.

Scan, Tag, Scan, Put away, Scan, Tag, Scan, Put away. Did that for 2 hours and i still have to do more the next time i volunteer. Also, I met this one lady that was TDY here in Germany and was from Trafalgar Square, Georgia! I've only been to the one in London.

After Library, I went to see my dad to lunch. Then my dad drove me to the Post Office. Unfortunately the Post Office was closed because it was a down day on the base. But usually when I volunteer at the post office, I am the person who gives people their packages when they come to pick it up. I once pitched mail, but I don't really care for it, so the other workers at the Post Office let me do the package stuff.

I really enjoy volunteering at the Library and Post Office, in fact ever since I was little i always wanted to work there. :)

But anyways, since i wasn't going to volunteer at the Post office, I went to go watch my dad and a couple of his co-workers golf. And guess what I got to do?! I got to drive the golf cart around for my dad!! I was really nervous though, i thought maybe I'd go to fast or I would tip the thing over, or or SOMETHING! But it doesn't go that fast anyways haha.  So i drove around, watched, drove around, watched, once in a while i backed up (which i am very good at), watched, drove.....
Then we went to the driving range and hit some balls.

I had a good day! :)

That was my day. I enjoyed it very much. :)

Crêpe :D yyuuuuummmm

Wikipedia: A crêpe (English pronunciation: /ˈkreɪp/, French: [kʁɛp]; Breton: krampouezhenn) is a type of very thin pancake, usually made from wheat flour. The word is of French origin, deriving from the Latin crispa, meaning "curled." While crêpes originate from Brittany, a region in the northwest of France, their consumption is nowadays widespread in France and they are considered a national dish, and they are also increasingly popular in North America and South America. In Brittany, crêpes are traditionally served with cider. Crêpes are served with a variety of fillings, from the most simple with only sugar to flambéed crêpes Suzette or elaborate savoury fillings.

Crepes are the best! They taste wwwwaaaaayyyyy better than pancakes! They are lit. You can put about anything in it from sugar, powdered sugar, nutela, bananas, Ice cream (haven't tried that yet, but seen it in pictures), chocolate sysrup, etc. experiment!! They are very fast to cook. I love it when my mom makes crepes, which is pretty rare lol

This is is how we fold it, but you can also roll it too.

See the sugar? Looks good doesn't it? Let me tell you......IT IS GOOD!F

A couple mornings ago, I took the dog out, again, because he's always whining and it usually keeps him quiet before he gets cold or hot! But anyway....there was FOG IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER!!!

But then again, it is Germany

Here Comes The Sun....

Took the dog out this morning. Turn to see the sunrise, so beautiful. I ran back inside to get my camera, took a couple pictrues and watched it rise up. :)

I had the Beatle's song stuck in my head while i was watching: Here comes the sun...

All of us, except for Jess and Allyn. I love this picture! Hopefully i can get this framed and give it to eveyone! :)

That platform made the lake awesome! We would jump off this thing a million times!
