The Player's Hand

Playing cards is fun especially if you have some one is really quite (mom), someone of is a goofball (dad), and me who's i don't know, maybe a mix. lol

You guys all know how to play Straight Gin, right? If not here's how you play: You will be given 10 cards, look at them, within your hand you can have runs and sets. Of course it is very unlikely you will be dealt all runs and sets. You will put the deck in the middle of the table, flip the top card, and if you are the first player you can take the flip card or draw from the deck, and decide if you need that card for a run or set; then discard, so you always have 10 cards. Then its the next player's turn. This goes on until your hand consists runs or sets (all 10 cards) or both. When you think you have it, you discard your last card but face it down on the discard pile and show everyone what you have.

Quite simple. It is very fun. You can do points, but it's just a lot of thinking to it and writing.

Let's just stick to your hand and play!

  1. Oh! I LOVE it, Eva!! Soooo cooool! I'm going to be looking forward to reading (and VIEWING) your blog for inspiration and motivation. Great work!!

I like what you shared about your mom being quiet and your dad being goofy and you being a mix. And I like the candid shots of your parents. AND... I like the close-up of the deck of cards!

    Can't wait to see more!!
